The development of the old Bankside power station into today’s Tate Modern played an important part in this concept, as the Manhattan Loft development project was literally right next door to it. It made sense to prominently feature the strong graphic qualities of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s rather recognisable Bankside Tower as part of the opening spread.
